End-User Discontinued Update and Upgrade

Effective October 1, 2021. Last updated: August 1, 2024.

General

A. Who is affected by the discontinued update of SignCut Pro 1?
All existing Pro 1 users (lifetime dongle, paid and bundle subscriptions) and dealers offering Pro 1 bundle codes and extensions are affected.
B. When will the discontinued update be effective?
The SignCut Productivity Pro 1 version updates will officially stop on October 1, 2021.
C. How will this affect existing Pro 1 users?
Existing Pro 1 users will still be able to use their current SignCut version, but certain limitations will apply such as,
  1. It will remain to be compatible with Windows 98 to Windows 10 (early revisions) and MAC OSX 10.5 to 10.13 (early revisions). However, please note that later revisions or updates of the aforementioned operating systems may no longer be supported. Pro 1 users may still install and run SignCut Pro 1 on newer versions of Windows and MAC OS at their own risk but stability is not guaranteed. Thus, we recommend maintaining the current OS if it still works for existing Pro 1 users and upgrading to SignCut Pro 2 if using an up-to-date Windows and MAC computer cannot be avoided.

  2. Its export plugins shall likewise remain to be compatible with the current plugin list as published on the website as long as the operating system condition is met (see first item). Please note that the plugins will cease to work if changes to the operating system or design software are applied. Thus, we strongly recommend maintaining the current setup if it is already working for existing Pro 1 users and upgrading to SignCut Pro 2 if using an up-to-date OS or design program cannot be avoided.
